Dapyx MP3 Explorer is an easy-to-use MP3 database manager. This lets you store, organize and search information on your MP3 collections. The tool offers ID tag editing. You should be able to edit both the versions of it; namely the ID3v1 and ID3v2. It also includes an ID3 generator. The search functionality is quite fast, it does not take forever to find a track. Among the many functions it has, you will find standard ones like ID3 tag editing (both ID3v1 and ID3v2), file renaming according to the ID3 tag or a ID3 generator. Search is facilitated by the explorer like interface that any windows user will be familiar with. Multiple filters can be specified for starting a search. Export of the tracks is possible in one of several formats that include HTML, PDF, RTF, XML, TXT, etc. Dapyx MP3 Explorer also makes a lot of free editable templates available so that you can customize the metadata about tracks in your collection. The trial version has limited tags related functions. The interface offers so much that you would need some time to get familiar with them. Most audio enthusiast will be able to adjust to it very quickly though. This is a very good tool if you have a substantial collection of MP3 tracks.
